When reading linked message sections you can only read messages from sections you have access to. When reading messages you are given the option to read previous message (if that message is a reply) or read the first reply found to that message (if any) . You can also return to the message you were reading before the current message. Hit CR to read the next message (or to return to the original message when reading previous, reply or before). Here is a description of the options: (N)ew : This will allow you to read all new messages since the last highest message you read. (F)orward : This will allow you to read messages in forward order starting from any message number (CR - First). (R)everse: This will allow you to read messages in reverse order starting from any message number (CR - Last). (T)hreads : This will allow you to read messages and then their replies automatically. (Individual: This will allow you to read a single message by entering a message number. (S)earch: This will allow you to read messages by searching the fields From, To or Subject by entering a search string (no need to type the full line just the first word or first few letters, not case sensitive). (M)arked : This lets you read marked messages (messages can be marked by the log-in mail search or when you read them you have the option to mark it for later retrieval). (A) bort : This option will abort reading messages .
